From the beginning in 1969, Almet, Inc. has been committed to customer satisfaction and quality fabricated steel products. For over thirty years Almet has serviced the small home builder to major companies requiring thousands of tons of structural steel. The following is a short list of major regional construction projects that Almet has fabricated entirely or in part:

Almet's jobs range in value from $50 to over $5,000,000. Almet has done work for all three major US auto manufacturers as well as several foreign auto manufacturers. Almet also produces specialty industrial fabrication products, such as tanks, conveyor support systems, platforms, mezzanines, plate girders, crash test apparatus and multi-hearth furnaces. Additionally, Almet's Almix division, specializes in the design and fabrication of portable asphalt mixing plants. Although Almet focuses regionally on the supply of structural steel, Almix pursues a global market. Almix asphalt plants have shipped as close as Illinois and Ohio to as far away as Mexico, Venezuela, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines to name a few.
