ASPHALT EQUIPMENT

In the mid-1980's, Almet began fabricating a line of asphalt producing equipment, a portion of it's business known as ALmix. The Almix product line includes cold feed bins, drum mixers, drag conveyors, bag-houses, and silos. The demand for Almix equipment stems from its innovative design, which other manufacturers are starting to imitate. The company has patents pending on some of its machinery. Almix plants have been shipped throughout the United States, as well as to Canada, Alaska, Russia, Africa, Korea, Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Latin America.

At the CONEXPO 2002, March 19-23, ALmix joined more than 135,000 colleagues and competitors as they gathered in Las Vegas for the most comprehensive marketplace for the construction industries. The exposition offered a tremendous selection of equipment, products, services, cutting-edge technologies and education producers and contractors. ALmix displayed a 5-Compartment 10 ft x 14 ft Portable Cold Feed Bin, an 84 inch dia x 16 ft Portable Mixing Drum, an 114 inch dia x 40' Portable Drying Drum, and an 80 Ton Self Erect Silo.
